Ripe guavas (whatever number desired)
Sugar

Directions:
1. Wash guavas, cover with water and boil until tender.

2. Rub through a sieve, weigh the pulp, and add an equal quantity of sugar.

3. Boil until mixture shrinks from the sides of pot. Stir all the time to prevent burning.

4. When a little dropped in water forms a ball. pour into a shallow dish.

5. Cool and cut into squares when firm.
